What we do

There are many programs and services in our church where you can participate and volunteer. It is doing this work as a team that draws us constantly closer to one another and to God.

Baptismal Robe Care – Maintains the baptismal robes.

Baptistery Ministry – Prepares the baptistery for baptisms on Sunday morning.

Building Maintenance – Provides technical skills to maintain complete operation of the facility.

Building Security Ministry – Checks the facility to make sure the building is secure before leaving the property on Sunday morning or evening.

Children's Ministry - For children through fifth grade, this ministry provides classes geared to make Bible learning enjoyable in an atmosphere of warmth, love and encouragement.

Communion Preparation Ministry – Prepares the Lord's Supper for Sunday morning.

Fellowship Meal Ministry – Rotating teams who facilitate meals, set-up and clean-up for church events.

Greeters Ministry – A group of adults and high school students who welcome our many members and visitors to Manor Woods on Sunday morning.

”Higher Grounds” Coffeehouse – Provides juices, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and other beverages Sunday mornings.

Lawn Care Ministry – Maintains the church grounds.

Membership Development – Contacting visitors and providing information about Manor Woods. 

Men's Ministry – Provides Christian fellowship, encouragement, and growth through activities and small groups for men.

Missions - Offers many opportunities to bring the love and word of God to international communities by helping those who are needy, oppressed, or simply in search of Him.

Music Ministry – Provides Manor Woods with excellent worship and instrumental and choral music. The ministry leads us to an encounter with God as we praise and worship Him together.

Nursery – Focuses on providing a safe, fun and caring environment for babies and toddlers.

Office Volunteer Ministry – Offers many opportunities to help with administrative duties and special projects at the church.

Parking Lot Ministry – Provides transportation to and from the satellite parking area on Sunday morning.

Prayer Ministry – Groups who meet on a regular basis to provide prayer support for our church members, friends, family, and our nation.

Senior's Ministry – Provides activities, service opportunities, and classes to continue seeking God first, while setting examples for others to follow.

Sign-Changing Ministry – Responsible for changing the marquee on the church sign weekly.

Small Groups Ministry – Small Groups offer opportunities for community, fellowship, and spiritual growth. These groups are designed to motivate and encourage members and visitors to get “plugged in”.

Snow Removal Ministry – Clears the church parking lot and walkways during inclement weather.

Stewardship Ministry – Meets regularly to maintain stewardship integrity and develop long range planning.

Technical Ministry – Responsible for managing sound, lights, and video for church functions.

Theme Development Ministry – Develops themes to decorate the church for special occasions and outreach opportunities for the community.

Transportation Ministry – Provides transportation to and from church for the residents of Bauer Park Apartments and those in the local community on Sunday mornings.

Usher Ministry – Greets members and visitors and assists them to seats in the sanctuary.

Van Ministry – Facilitates the mechanical maintenance of the church vehicles.

Wedding Setup/Tear Down Ministry – Prepares the sanctuary before and after a wedding.

Women's Ministry – Provides Christian fellowship, encouragement, outreach, and growth through activities and small groups for women of all ages.
