Our Message

Manor Woods is all about knowing God through His Word. We believe the Bible is God’s Word, literally; His message to His people about His plan for their lives. The Bible is as relevant today as it was when it was first written and gives us direction, guidance, and wisdom for living life to its fullest. Sermons on Sunday mornings dig deep into the meaning of God’s Word and how we can put it into practical use in our everyday lives.

We strive to follow the pattern of the New Testament church. We follow the God-given pattern of weekly communion and the immersion (baptism in water) of believers for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. We believe God loves us, made us, and doesn’t want empty religion, but rather a loving relationship with us all. We teach that sin is when you don’t follow God’s plan for your life, which will separate you from God, and eternally from His love (Hell). But those who through God’s grace accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, are baptized in His name, and live for Him completely, receive forgiveness for sin and the gift of eternal life in Heaven.
