WHAT IS BAPTISM?

We believe that the Bible teaches that to put our faith in Jesus Christ we are to believe, confess, repent, and be baptized. When someone has made the decision to follow Jesus for the rest of their life they then are to be baptized through immersion signifying that they have new life in Jesus. The purpose of baptism is for the remission of sins, salvation, to put on Christ, washing away of sins, and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
