The Senior's Ministry is celebrating the coming Easter season! Join us for a Spring Sing! On March 25th from noon to 2:00 in the cafe, there will be a potluck. Bring any kind of salad (i.e. chicken, pasta, garden, etc.) or dessert.

We will also be collecting new or like-new kitchen utensils for Safe Haven in Laytonsville. Examples are Soup Ladle, Solid Spoon, Slotted Spoon, Solid Turner, Slotted Turner, Potato Masher, Can Opener, Whisk, Grater, Spatula, Tongs, Ice Cream Scooper, Peeler, Measuring Cups, Measuring Spoons, etc. The dollar store is a great place for these finds.

Safe Haven is part of the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH). They "provide solutions to ensure that homelessness in Montgomery County is rare, brief and nonrecurring." In particular, they help veterans get back on their feet. They provide the basic household items one needs to start housekeeping.
