Giving of tithes and offerings to the local church is an act of worship, the natural outpouring of love from a grateful heart. It is also an act of service, actively supporting the work of the local congregation. Making donations by electronic means is safe and convenient, and benefits both the donor and the church.
Electronic donations to the Church of Christ at Manor Woods may be made through ACH transfers directly from the donor’s checking or savings account, by credit card, or through a PayPal account. Funds may be directed to the General Operating Fund or to the Renew Renovation Fund, and sometimes to a special collection that is established for a limited time.
What are the benefits of Online Giving?
For the giver, online giving:
Prevents the need to have cash or checks on hand to make a donation.
Provides convenience to contribute ANY time, from ANY device with Internet access.
Provides ability to schedule recurring donations that will create a consistent giving pattern, even when schedules change.
For the church:
Online giving provides automatic deposits of all online donations.
Recurring donations provide a consistency of income that helps the church operate efficiently.

How does Online Giving relate to the use of Numbered Envelopes?
CCMW currently provides sets of Numbered Envelopes to anyone who wants to receive a record of their annual giving.
If you use Numbered Envelopes:
You can make online donations and still continue to use your “Numbered Envelopes” for “extra” donations to the General Fund, the Renew Renovation Fund, or for designations that have been established for a specific purpose.
Your online gifts, combined with gifts that are manually given, will be used to create your annual Contribution Report. (If you plan to claim a deduction for donations to the church, DO NOT file your return before receiving the Contribution Report.)
If you don’t use Numbered Envelopes:
Even if you do not use Numbered Envelopes, a Contribution Report that lists all your online gifts will be provided. (If you plan to claim a deduction for donations to the church, DO NOT file your return before receiving the Contribution Report.)
